University of Michigan’s Patient-2-Patient Education Project (March 24 @ 10am)

University of Michigan's Patient-2-Patient Education Project

If you are anywhere near Ann Arbor, Michigan, you would be well advised to check out the University of Michigan’s Patient-2-Patient (P2P) Education Project. This is a yearly event, hosted by the University of Michigan Medicine and the University of Michigan’s Crohn’s & Colitis Student Initiative, which pairs IBD patient advocates alongside medical professionals who specialize in IBD to discuss topics that are important to patients. This is a truly unique event in the world of IBD. It is also a free event with lunch and refreshments provided; what more could you ask for?

This year, I am grateful for the opportunity to speak on Alternative Medicine in IBD alongside Dr. Shrinivas Bishu, an IBD specialist gastroenterologist from the University of Michigan’s IBD Team.
